Prevention and Treatment of Fragility Fractures in Northern Ireland

Conference Objectives

  • To highlight best practice in the prevention and management of fragility fractures

  • To describe the impact of fragility fractures on the health and well being of older people in Northern Ireland

  • To promote good Bone Health for everyone

Professor David Marsh, Professor of Clinical Orthopaedics, University College London, Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital, Stanmore and International Ambassador for the Bone and Joint Decade

Dr. Alastair McClellan, Consultant Physician/Endocrinologist, Bone Metabolism Unit, Western Infirmary, Glasgow

Professor Tim Davis, School of Clinical Sciences, Division of Orthopaedic and Accident Surgery, Nottingham University
